筆者は、2007年4月からの約10年間、山口県内の様々な企業との受託研究や研究創作を通じて、多様な成果物（デザイン作品）を生み出してきた。山口県内には、素材や技術にこだわった企業や工房などが数多くあるが、その一方で、販売に至るまでの展示・広報などには乏しい面も見られた。結果として知名度の向上や経済効果などは得られにくい部分もあった。これらの経験から、現在はデザイン・制作面だけではなく広報・展示等も含めたトータルプロデュースを意識して創作するようになった。 本報告では、山口県の産業を対象としたデザイン・広報・販売・展示について、総合的にプロデュースを行った過程・結果などを報告したい。
For approximately 10 years since April 2007, I have created various works of design through consignment studies with various companies in Yamaguchi Prefecture. In Yamaguchi Prefecture, there are many companies and studios that are particular about materials and techniques, yet it was found that there are also those that perform little exhibition/public relations until the time of product sale. As a result, there were also some for which it is difficult to achieve increased name recognition and economic effects. Based on these experiences, I have initiated total production including not only aspects related to design and production, but also public relations/exhibitions, etc.In this report, I shall report on the process/results, etc., of comprehensively produced design, publicity, sales, and exhibition for the industry in Yamaguchi Prefecture.
