社会福祉や看護の領域では、哲学をもとにしたケアの研究が蓄積されている。小論の目的は、介護職員のケア実践において、どのように人間の尊厳が支えられているのかの一端を明らかにすることである。そのために、介護職員が利用者を気遣い(ケアし)利用者の求めに応じようとすることにおいて、倫理的関係の基底となる次元が拓かれていくことを論じる。そして、介護職員が利用者の「顔」を見て試行錯誤をすることや、利用者の「居場所づくり」の取り組みを考察し、それらケアの営みの意味を考察する。
In the field of social welfare and nursing, it has been often discussed about care based on philosophy. The aim of this thesis is to describe that dignity of human beings is supported in care practice of care workers. For example, care workers are trying to respond to residents requests, they look at the "face" of a resident and try to make a place where the resident can relax. It is interpreted that how care workers who respond to the needs of residents are building the basis of ethical relationships and how these care practices support human dignity.
