本研究は、母親への子育支援の内容、活動上の課題を明らかにし、今後の子育て支援の方向性を検討する目的で文献検討を行った。方法は育児中の母親への子育て支援に関する文献についてデーターベースを用いて検索し、支援活動内容と課題について検討した。結果は、母親への子育て支援の活動内容として、[育児・教育トレーニングプログラムの提供][母親たちが集まる場所の提供と活動][行政事業等で相談や家庭訪問による心理および実務的なサポート][電話やインターネットを利用した相談支援][子育て相談役のボランティアの育成]の5つのカテゴリーが挙げられた。課題として、｢サポートを維持させること｣｢信頼関係を構築すること｣｢母親の育児に対するネガティブな感情へのサポート｣｢支援の必要な母親を見極めること｣｢他職者との連携｣｢支援者側の力量不足｣等が挙げられた。今後の子育て支援の方向性として、世代間連鎖という概念からも、長期影響を見据えた、切れ目のない信頼関係を築き母親とのラポートを培うことができるサポートが重要であることが示唆された。
The purpose of this study was to review the literature about child-raising support activities available for mothers, to determine the future direction for child-rearing support. The database search method was used. Results revealed five categories of activities namely [provision education program for training in child care][places where mothers are offered these support activities][administrative activities for providing psychological counseling and home visits and related practical support][Internet and phone consultation assistance][training for volunteer child-rearing Adviser]. There are the challenges facing each of these methods such as ensuring continuing support, difficulty in gaining mothers’ trust, supporting mothers who have negative feelings, providing linkages with other professionals as and when needed and lack of competence among the service providers. The findings also suggests that there could be a significant need to train providers cultivating communication competencies to help them develop ways to establish rapport and a trusting relationship with the mothers during their support activities
