The Postgraduate School of Intercultural Studies, Yamaguchi Prefectural University, came into being in 1999. Prior to this, in 1994, the Bachelor Degree of the Faculty of Intercultural Studies, was introduced. Teachers from the Faculty, as well as those who were especially invited to the Postgraduate School, have provided a vehicle for both students and teaching staff to produce fruitful research outcomes in a research environment rich in resources. In 2019, the Postgraduate School celebrated its 20th anniversary by producing a report summarizing the activities and outcomes of previous years. This report can be read on the University’s website.
