本稿は、周南公立大学総合教育センターが令和7（2025）年度に実施した主な取組について、地域共創、高大接続、学生支援、国際・キャリア教育の各領域から整理し、その内容を報告するものである。本年度は、地域共創教育コンソーシアムを基盤とした関係機関との協議や探究学習を軸とする高大接続の実践、学生同士の学修支援や相談活動の展開に加え、学内外を対象とした講演会・公開講座等の事業を通して、多様な学習機会の提供を行った。本稿では、これらの活動の概要を示す。

In multilingual group activities, majority language speakers of ten assume leadership roles, creating a power gradient in which minority speakers follow. This study examined whether such gradients could be reduced by creating a situation in which minority members held a linguistic advantage. Group interviews with international students were conducted using a speech translation application, and effectiveness was assessed based on speech duration and post-task subjective mental workload. Although mistranslations and omissions by the application frequently disrupted conversational flow, these errors sometime s contributed to a more relaxed atmosphere. Nevertheless, international students who served as interviewers did not speak more than Japanese students, even when they understood both languages, and they did not display more proactive behavior. Overall, subjective mental workload was below zero. However, Japanese students reported effort as the highest workload component, whereas international students reported frustration as the highest.

本稿では、日本語教育を専門とする筆者がこれまで9 年間に渡って担当してきた「地域ゼミ」の実践を振り返り、活動内容の変遷とその背景について記述した。次に、その振り返りを踏まえ、2025 年度に実施した多文化共生キャンパスの実現を目指した地域ゼミの実践について報告した。具体的な活動内容としては、在住外国人支援の一環としての地域日本語教室の現状と課題に注目し周南市や山口県の取り組みについて学ぶと共に、実際の教室見学を行った。また、それらの学びをもとに多文化共生キャンパスの実現へ向けた企画の立案・実施を行った。しかし、全15 週のゼミにて複数の活動を取り入れたものの、いずれも一過的な学習に留まってしまったこと等が反省点であった。今後の課題は、ゼミ履修を契機とする学生の多文化共生への理解や関心を、継続的な取り組みへとつなげていくことである。

This study examines programming education in the compulsory highschool subject Information I, focusing on the programming languages adopted in authorized textbooks and the Common Test Standard Pseudocode Language used in the National Center Test for UniversityAdmissions. The aim of the study is to clarify an appropriate a pproach to programming language instruction that aligns with the object ives of the subject and the assessment system. In primary education, Scratch is commonly used to develop the foundations of logical thinking through visual and intuitive programming. At the high school level, text-based programming is required to deepen students’understanding of algorithms and data utilization. Python is widely adopted for this purpose due to its simple and readable syntax. In addition, Python shares similarities in notation and structure with the Common Test Standard Pseudocode Language, such as indentation-based block representation. This similarity enables students to acqui re the skills needed for the university entrance examination through regular classroom instruction, without relying heavily on test-oriented learning.The study also addresses the limitations of focusing on the mastery of a specific programming language. In Information I, programming should be regarded not as an end in itself but as a means of developin gproblem-solving abilities and logical thinking skills. Therefor e,programming languages should be positioned as tools for achieving educational goals rather than as objectives of instruction.

徳山大学（2021 年度）および周南公立大学（2022-2023 年度）において筆者らが授業を担当した初年次必修早期就業体験科目「アーリー・エクスポージャー型インターンシップ」（2023 年度より「キャリア形成活動Ⅰ」）について、授業の学生のキャリア意識への影響を見取るために実施したアンケート結果を報告する。周南公立大学（徳山大学）は2024 年度に実施された学部学科改組以前は経済学部・福祉情報学部からなり、この科目は新入生全員を就業体験に参加させる必修科目として開講された。2021 年度はいわゆるコロナ禍により約3 分の2 が対面での就業体験ができず、2022 年度も影響が残った。2023 年度になってようやく満足に実施できたが、学部学科の改組により「全学必修」としての最後の年となった。コロナ禍の影響や、大学の設置母体の変更、学部学科改組、実施時期の変更などの様々な状況の変化もあったので2024 年度以降とは区別して、この授業の3 年間の歩みを単に報告する。

Volunteer activities have become a major social activity in modern society, yet the number of participants is not increasing. In r esponse to this trend, incentives such as point systems（ hereafter referred to as VP systems） and honorariums have been introduced in volunteer activities in the welfare sector. 　
This study aimed to clarify the relationship between volunteers ' volunteer intentions and the type of incentives they receive, thereby proposing ways to utilize various incentives to support volunteers. The author conducted a questionnaire survey of volunteers registered with social welfare councils.
The results revealed that ”opportunities and opportunities for interpersonal connections" can serve as an incentive for volunteers, and that these incentives are associated with "exaltation of self-e steem" and "acquiring knowledge." By deepening relationships through "opportunities and opportunities for interpersonal connections, " volunteers can recognize their own value and learn new things. This finding clearly shows that non-monetary incentives influence vo lunteer aspirations. However, it also revealed expectations for monetary incentives. Therefore, providing and appropriately implementing incentives tailored to the diverse aspirations of volunteers can lead to the development of methods for evaluating and supporting volunteers.

大学1 年生の日本人の初級英語学習者を対象に20 分の授業内多読が英文ライティングに与える影響を検証した。その結果、産出語数の有意な増加が示された。定型表現は、書き・話し言葉に関係なく産出される傾向が示唆され、事後テストの方が話し言葉に適した表現や句動詞の産出が増える兆候が示された。

本研究は、駆け出し期の教職課程担当教員が抱えるゲートキーピング上の葛藤に着目し、その省察と言語化を支援するプラクティカムの可能性を検討するものである。教職課程科目では、多様な専門性やキャリアを有する教員が授業を担当する一方、授業設計に関する意思決定を省察的に捉える機会は限られている。そこで本研究では、大学1 年次向け「教師論」において、2 名の教員が役割分担制で授業を共同運営し、事前検討会と事後省察を組み込んだプログラムを試行した。その結果、初任期教員の授業構想や教材選択における判断が次第に精緻化されるとともに、協働的省察の相互作用が確認された。本研究は、教職課程担当教員の専門性開発に資する実践的示唆を提供する。

本事例報告では、周南市において導入・展開されている学生消防団員制度及び、周南公立大学、徳山工業高等専門学校、周南市の三者連携による制度形成の経緯とその意義を示す。とりわけ、地域防災力の向上および若年層の地域参画という観点から、学生消防団制度が果たす役割について検討する。周南市では、平成29 年度に導入された「学生消防団活動認証制度」をもとにして、平成30 年3 月に学生消防団を創設した。その後に発生した新型コロナウイルス感染症の影響により一時的に団員数が減少し、2025 年3 月時点では学生消防団員は1 名となっていた。そこで、周南公立大学、徳山工業高等専門学校、周南市の三者連携に基づき新たな学生消防団を創設することとなった。以降、再び学生の参加が拡大しており、地域防災体制の持続可能性を支える重要な取り組みとなっている。

2024 年6 月に周南公立大学に学生サークル「探検部」が設立された。本稿は探検部設立の経緯および趣旨、また今日までの山行を中心とした活動実績をまとめたものである。
既存の学生探検団体の多くは、その永い歴史を背景に活動様式や運営体制が一定程度確立されている。一方で、本学探検部（以下、探検部と記す）は未経験者が集まった新設の学生団体であることから、活動内容や参加形態に柔軟性をもたせた運営を行っている。
山登りを軸としながらも、初心者が参加しやすい活動や、参加者の関心に応じた内容調整を行うことで、探検活動への参加のハードルを下げることを意識している点が本サークルの特徴である。
紙数の多くは、サークルの中心的な活動として実施した計５回の山行についてのそれぞれ紀行文形式での報告である。５回の山行とは、右田ヶ岳、三倉岳、三瓶山縦走、三鈷峰（大山）、比婆山連峰半縦走であり、いずれも日帰りないしは前泊日帰りのものであった。

2025 年、第二次世界大戦後80 年を契機に周南公立大学（以下「本学」という。）経済経営学部の地域ゼミにおいて、周南市の戦中・戦後復興の動きについて調査活動を進め、同年末に発表会を行い、学生のプロポーザル（提言書）を周南市に手渡した。また、地域ゼミ所属の学生などが創設した「平和志向のまちづくりの会」の活動が、同年5 月に公益財団法人 山口きらめき財団（以下「財団」という。）の若者チャレンジ応援事業に採択され、発表会と同時に実施した周南市民への発信面を担った。これにより、学習活動と発信活動の二階建ての取組みとなり、結果として、学習活動で一定の成果が見られた。
