An attempt to select the most suitable force-distance relation between a dislocation and the agglomerate (trimer) of impurity-vacancy dipoles in annealed KCl:Sr2+ (SrCl2 0.050 mol% in the melt) single crystals was conducted among the four models: the Fleischer’s model, a square, a parabolic, and a triangular force-distance relations. These models are taken into account the Friedel relation between the effective stress and the average dislocation segments. This was carried out on the basis of the temperature dependence of p1 τ , which reveals the force-distance profile. Unfortunately, there is no difference in the linear p1 τ -temperature relation for the four models. Therefore, it is difficult to select the most suitable model of the four from the linear plots of effective stress vs. temperature.
