重症心身障害児・者の教育を考える上で探索行動は、他者とのコミュニケーションのきっかけとなる行動であるとともに、重症心身障害児・者自身の世界を広げる行動でもある。本稿では、重症心身障害児・者の探索行動を促す係わりに焦点を当て、先行研究の動向を整理した。その結果、探索行動を促す係わりについては、対象児・者の探索行動に対して抱くポジティブな情動を促す係わりと、対象児・者が探索行動に対して抱くネガティブな情動を低減させる係わりが重要であることが明らかになった。
Exploratory behavior is important for individuals with profound and multiple disabilities.In this study,we reviewed support methods for inducing exploratory behavior.In this review,we pointed out that there are two methods of support to induce exploratory behavior and have pointed out two such methods.In particular,support methods are needed to increase positive emotion and decrease negative emotion towards exploratory behavior.Therefore,it is important for support providers to assess the emotional state of individuals with profound and multiple disabilities.
