Japanese Language Publications Regarding Territorial Disputes and Historical Issues Published by the People's Republic of China, 2014-2015

This article explores Japanese language publications issued by publishing house in the People's Republic of China for the period of 2014-2015. Chinese national publishing houses published books related to territorial disputes and issues of historical thought. In particular, they published many books about historical thought in the name of the 70th anniversary of "the war of resistance against Japanese aggression" as well as "the world anti-fascist war." The author of this article points out these books hanged the method of divisions of the various periods during that time, and used photographs published in Japanese agazines before World War II and Japanese military documents in order to more accurately represent the data in a scholarly manner. However, the author also points out that some of the publications are not worth reading due to the many of mistakes made in translation.
