We organize an interdisciplinary research team under the aim of formulation of a NEW KOSEN education. To attain this aim, we focus on the international collaboration between Japanese schools and foreign/international educational institutions in Asia. Through the field study to the arena of overseas school, we identify the inherent factors in Japanese school which hamper or facilitate innovative movement for the new Japanese-style education based on the aspects of multicultural and international collaboration. This is the first stage of the research scheme, though we suffer from the Covid-19, our interdisciplinary team visited the National Institute of Technology, Ube College. We try to grasp KOSEN’s distinctive features in this case study. In this study each member defines research target and merge findings with each other. This paper intends to show the research outline and the part of the first filed research in Ube KOSEN. This research is subsidized by JSPS KAKENHI Grant Number JP20H01644 (Grant-in-Aid for Scientific Research (B)).
