Globalization of society has rapidly advanced in recent years, and it is urgent for education to respond to it. National Institute of Technology has been promoting globalization and is engaged in implementation of Content and Language Integrated Learning (CLIL) in the global college project.
In order to promote the implementation of CLIL, we established a network of CLIL teaching staffs. The number of classes introduced CLIL has expanded greatly in the last few years: 5 classes by three faculty members (2014), 9 classes by four faculty members (2015), 13 classes by 6 faculty members (2016), 20 classes by 10 faculty members (2017). In this article, we summarize the implementation status of class of CLIL and share the experience on the class conducted in English in order to improve the course education in English.
