We developed a prototype remote control signal repeater to transmit infrared remote control signals over a wide area.The operation ofthis device is to convert the infrared remote control signal operated by a human into an electrical signal,the electrical signal is relayed to a remote locationvia a signal relay board and the relayed electrical signal is emited from the infrared light projection unit as an infrared remote control signal.The infrared remote control relay function worked well,and when the infrared signal was iradiated from a height of3m,it was possible to control LED lanterns within a range ofapproximately4m in diameter.
