Using a solution focus approach, we qualitatively examined peer effects and labor productivity in four firms which organization cultures are clan, adhocracy, hierarchy and market. We showed that the productivity improved in all firms. Because workers not only monitored each other but also accredited each other constantly by sending a positive message, they worked diligently. In addition, because coworkers became more collaborating by follow-up activities, their skills and knowledge were improved faster. We confirmed that the solution focus approach is an easy, enjoyable and empowering tool, unlike reward system or structural reform which could inflict pain on organizations.
