Kiyoo Nakamura used to be a student at Shoukason-juku academy (private school run by Shoin Yoshida), and then made a decision to major in physics and meteorology. He served as the director of the Central Meteorological Observatory (Japan Meteorological Agency in the present day) and devoted himself to establishing the modern meteorology. In addition, he was also known as one of the founders of the current Tokyo University of Science. I'd like to the explanation about him as a meteorologist.
