This paper aims to propose a heuristic method for a transportation plan of finished cars by pure car carriers. In automobile manufacturers, finished cars are transported by trailers and pure car carriers. In this paper, we propose a heuristic method using an ant colony optimization (ACO), and clarify the effectiveness of our proposed method.
