    The purpose of this paper is to consider the introduction of qualification examinations from a qualitative assessment point of view that young members of the staff discussed at the regular meeting, which was established in 1998. The subject taken up by the members was "How do you motivate students to work hard and efficiently?" It was proposed that the contents of each subject should be related to various kinds of qualification examinations corresponding to each department curriculum. At present the college offers them opportunities for qualification examinations. In addition, the number of the technical colleges, which introduce this type of qualification examinations required by Japan  Accreditation Board for Engineering Education(JABEE), has increased recently. The acquirement of such qualifications is regarded as a part of the outside evaluation requirements for job placement.
