The Development of Electrical Handcraft Kits by The Student Activity Support of The Ube Kosen

Ube National College of Technology (UNCT) has the system which helps students do voluntary activities such as entries in contests which can raise the school’s reputation, plans which make use of their hobbies and participations in volunteer operations. Taking advantage of this system, the group consists of second year students of the electronic department developed the electrical handcraft kit for the purpose of using it at the science classes open to the local kids. We read the paper on this activity at The 1st Kosen Research Meeting sponsored by The Chugoku Branch of the Institute of Electrical Engineers of Japan (IEEJ) and we were awarded The Branch Chairperson Prize. This is the report on the process of guiding the enthusiastic students of UNCT and helping them to make their plans real.
