It is essential that the engineer acquire generic skills in addition to expertise and general knowledge. The development of generic skills is also required in higher education in the engineering field. In National Institute of Technology (NIT), the Model Core Curriculums set the goals for general, expertise education, and generic skill. NIT, Ube College conduct the Project based learning to develop the generic skills for the lower grades of the students. In this study, we describe the Project based learning which designed to improve the generic skills, such as communication skill, logical thinking, teamwork, and problem seeking. This PBL includes the contents such as the logical-thinking puzzle, newspaper reading, creating the PR movies of Ube city, and analysis of the regional issues.
