Abstract : This paper aims to report the practical research of active learning in senior high school (TBLT) and National Institute of Technology, Ube College (CLIL). In senior high school, participants are 60 students in 3rd grade who belong to departments of agriculture and design. They learn infinite articles and use them in pair and group work through TBLT. Moreover, in NIT, Ube college, participants are 200 students in 2nd grade every year (in total of 800 for four years), who belong to departments of mechanical, electrical, intelligent system, chemical and biological engineering, and business administration. They learn “pictogram,” “ocean plastic problem,” and SDGs from the textbook in English. After learning, they make their own pictograms and give presentations using language knowledge which they have learned.
