Abstract:This study clarifies the economic ripple effects of National Institute of Technology,Ube College activities on the region.
The analysis method first calculates the current expenditures of technical colleges,the consumption expenditures of faculty and staff,and the consumption expenditures of students. Then,from the calculation results of those consumption expenditures,the economic ripple effects are calculated using an input-output table. The results show that the activities of the technical college generated an economic impact of approximately 1.3 billion yen.
