Mreader study abroad
Baiko Gakuin University has attempted to improve English learning environments over the years. To explore further development,eight-four freshmen and sophomores in the English course were given a questionnaire regarding their attitudes toward learning environments such as extra-curricular systems and programs. As a result, the study abroad programs had the greatest impact on students' TOEIC scores among all the variables, followed by Mreader, which is employed to improve students' reading. However, the students' attitude toward Mreader did not have a significant correlation with TOEIC scores. This result led us to conclude that students did not realize Mreader was helpful but it did help to improve their English skills.
