Biodegradation of Poly (p-phenylene terephthalamide) Fibers (Kevlar 119 and 149) by Microorganisms
Creators Watanabe Takashi
Poly (p-phenylene terephthalamide) fibers (Kevlar 119 and 149) were degraded by A. flavus and A. sojae in agar slant medium. The bilodegradation resulted in an increase in diameter and flattening in Kevlar 119 and a decomposition to fibrils in Kevlar 149
