内分泌撹乱化学物質のひとつであるフタル酸エステルのマウス精巣に対する作用を実験生理学的に検討した。4週令マウスにフタル酸エステルを胃内強制投与して12時間後の精巣組織を、断片化DNAを標識するTUNEL法とアポトーシス細胞死関連蛋白Fasリガンドを認識する免疫組織化学法で処理し、共焦点レーザー顕微鏡で検索した。精細菅上皮の支持細胞セルトリ細胞にはFasリガンドの、精母細胞にはFasの強い発現が認められた。
