Competency Achievement Level Regarding Nutrition Care Management in Pre-graduate Education for Managerial Dietician

Objective: To examine relationship of existing curriculum and clinical practice with competency formation and recognize state of competency acquirement in pre-graduate students in managerial dietician training course Method: A survey was performed for 45 pre-graduate students of managerial dietician training institutions on October 2011. A survey of self-administered questionnaire was based on a placement method. The questions consisted of 162 items in total including competency items regarding "highly-specialized nutrition care management of managerial dietician and examples of each attainment target." "Specialized competency" was classified into "Appropriate assessment", "Individual nutrition care plan preparation", "Practice of nutrition care", "Nutrition care monitoring / assessment" and "Food service management" based on a 5-point scale for achievement level. 目的：管理栄養士養成課程卒前者のコンピテンシー習得状況を把握し、現行のカリキュラム並びに臨地実習等とコンピテンシー形成との関係について検討した。方法：2011年10月に管理栄養士養成施設卒前者47人を調査対象者とした。自記式質問紙調査は留め置き法とした。調査票は『チームによる効果的な栄養ケア･マネジメントの標準化をめざした総合的研究』班の、｢大学と介護保険施設との連携による栄養ケアの質の向上と人材育成システムの構築｣で整理されたコンピテンシー項目を用いた。質問項目は、｢専門性の高い管理栄養士の栄養ケア･マネジメントに関するコンピテンシー項目とそれぞれの到達目標の例｣の162項目を基本とした。｢専門コンピテンシー｣は、｢適切なアセスメント｣･｢個別の栄養ケアプランの作成｣･｢栄養ケアの実施｣･｢栄養ケアのモニタリング/評価｣･｢給食管理｣に分類し、到達度は5段階評価とした。項目別に平均点を算出し、順位化した。(以下、略)
