In the current study, it has been tried to form a new value by applying media representation and information technology to cultural resources rooted in regions and places. The formation of value is verified through creating works specialized for cultural use by combining regional resources with media representation. With a framework of media representation based on building of expression methods in use of positional information as well as accumulation and operation of data while collecting information about regional resources, accumulated data is utilized as a tool to seek for expression methods through trial experiments via exhibition or websites. We seek for an approach for creating works to be continuously used by combining regional resources with geographic information system(GIS) and information-communication technology (ICT).
