moving dislocation plastic deformation strain-rate cycling tests ultrasonic oscillation
Strain-rate cycling tests during the Blaha effect measurement were carried out at 77 to 220K for three kinds of single crystals: KCl, KCl doped with Sr2+, KCl doped with various impurities. The plots of the train-rate sensitivity of flow stress and stress decrement had two bending points and two plateau places only for KCl:Sr2+. The relative curve of strain-rate sensitivity and stress decrement was considered to reflect the influence of ultrasonic oscillation on the dislocation motion on the slip plane containing many weak obstacles and a few strong ones, during plastic deformation.
