On implementing a marksheet system for returning exam papers

The functionality of digitizing handwritten exams on sheets is definitely a necessary part of e-portfolio. We show such a functionality can be developed without much efforts and even a simple implementation of it is actually practical in the sense that there are satisfactorily few errors in recognition of student's ids and processing time is also tolerably short. We present the points of the system we developed showing what are important for such systems in practical uses and hope that it can be expanded to an e-portfolio system keeping its simplicity and user friendliness.
