It is considered that the personality has influence on the acquisition of the marine technique as endogenous element. Therefore, the author examined the personal image of our students who hope to become the marine technical officer. The author adopted Maudsley Personality Inventory, Japanese edition. The subjects were our students in 6 groups. As a result, it was found that the character of the subjects were extroversion and insensitive as compared with the character of the average university students. Given the result, the author will be able to consider the efficient education method for the acquisition of the marine technique in future.
