This paper, which is based on the classification of Chinese transitive and intransitive verbs(Kimura 2004), compares Chinese original sentences with Japanese translated sentences and Japanese original sentences with Chinese translated sentences, and then verifies the relationships with each other. When discussing Chinese verbs, I closely examine verbs that take direct objects, according to whether or not the corresponding Japanese verb is transitive or an intransitive. If problems are found, I examine them further in details. Regarding Japanese verbs, I examine and classify them based on whether they are transitive or intransitive verbs, corresponding to case-making particles, wo(を)”,“ni(に)”,”ga (が)”which the direct object takes. The classification of transitive and intransitive verbs is not presently mentioned in Chinese dictionaries that are published in Japan. Classification could be clarified with the help of Japanese
